Il segreto è che abbiamo paura della fotocamera. Te lo giuro — davanti all’obiettivo mi trasformo in un coniglietto spaventato, con il viso rigido e lo sguardo supplichevole.
E dire che vado spesso a farmi fotografare! Voglio avere foto da riguardare a 40 o 70 anni, immagini che i miei nipoti possano guardare per capire che tipo di persona ero. Ma nonostante tutto, ho ancora paura della macchina fotografica e non so come posare.
E se ti dicessi che non devi né posare né guardare in camera?
E se ti portassi a fare una passeggiata per Bologna e ti chiedessi solo di fare cose semplici — cercare la strada su una mappa di carta, bere un caffè, leggere un libro, scegliere delle cartoline, sederti su una scalinata?
Niente paura, niente ansia. Solo tu, naturale. E io, nel frattempo, cercherò l’angolazione migliore e lo sfondo perfetto per mostrarti quanto sei speciale.

My photo walk through Bologna is not just a street photoshoot in beautiful medieval alleys.
Have you ever noticed that the best pictures of you are often the ones taken when you weren’t paying attention — when you were just doing something else?
The truth is, we’re scared of the camera. I swear — in front of a lens, I turn into a terrified rabbit, with frozen facial muscles and pleading eyes.
And I go to photo sessions quite often! I want pictures I’ll look at when I’m 40 or 70, pictures my grandchildren will look at and say: “Wow, so that’s who she was.” But I still feel awkward and don’t know how to pose.
What if I told you that you don’t have to pose or look at the camera?
What if I took you for a walk through Bologna, and simply asked you to do little things — check our route on a paper map, drink an espresso, read a book, pick out postcards, sit on some stairs?
You won’t freeze or feel anxious. You’ll just be yourself — and I’ll be quietly searching for the best angle and the perfect background to show you just how cool you are.
